Writing can often be a difficult skill to hone. Many times, we learn from an English teacher who has become an educator because they LOVE WRITING, and they love writing because they are good at it. However, for those of us who may struggle, academic coaching and English tutoring can provide the personalized writing support we need to improve our skills.
I have had the unique experience of being both a literature lover and a student seeking improvement. In college, I enjoyed exploring literary works but soon realized that my writing skills were not as strong as I had believed. I was fortunate to receive personalized writing support through academic coaching from my UCI English instructor, who dedicated hours to sitting with me, going line by line. Together, we explored the basics, advanced techniques, and the nuances that enhance one's ability to think while writing. I learned how to use writing as a tool to convey my thoughts, rather than merely presenting my ideas to appear as a good writer.
I focus on thinking first. Becoming a more methodical thinker can enhance your writing skills, making you a more poignant writer. Anyone can develop methodical thinking at any age and any level. While being smart is not a prerequisite for writing, engaging in writing CAN MAKE YOU SMARTER. Through my academic coaching and English tutoring, I can provide personalized writing support to show you how.
A good writer lies dormant in all of us, and with the right support, we can unlock our potential. We all have something interesting to say, and through personalized writing support, you can discover your unique voice. You already have within you the means, the content, and the vehicle with which to write. My Roadmap to Writing, enhanced by academic coaching and English tutoring, can show you that you also have the ability to drive your writing and thinking to new places and new heights.
I'm committed to helping my students succeed through academic coaching. That's why I offer personalized writing support and English tutoring to help each student navigate their own unique challenges. I want to help you achieve your career goals.
